Data we process

• Purchase and contact data: email address, selected plan, transaction and subscription references, locale and support messages.
• Licensing data: license key, activation status, expiry date and an opaque device identifier needed to enforce the one-device limit.
• Technical data normally recorded by the web server, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/user agent and security events.

Purposes and legal bases

• To deliver, activate and validate licenses and provide support: performance of the contract or steps requested before purchase.
• To secure the service, prevent fraud and diagnose faults: legitimate interests in protecting the service and customers.
• To retain transaction and accounting records: compliance with legal obligations.
• Optional technologies, if introduced later: consent where required.

Local application processing

OCR, translation and rendering are designed to run on your computer. Manga pages and prompts are not uploaded to our licensing server. If you configure a third-party or cloud AI endpoint, that provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Payments and recipients

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout, payment, tax and buyer-support data under its own Privacy Policy. OVHcloud provides website, server and transactional-email infrastructure. jsDelivr delivers the public flag icons used by the language selector and receives ordinary web-request data such as IP address and user agent. Authorized providers receive only the data required for their service.

International transfers

Some providers, including Paddle and its sub-processors, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are protected through adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or another lawful mechanism described by the provider.

Retention

License and purchase records are retained for the life of the license and as long as required for contractual, fraud-prevention and legal obligations. Support messages are normally retained for up to 24 months after closure. Web security logs are normally retained for up to 30 days, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or comply with law.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Contact the address above. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Security and required data

Appropriate technical and organizational safeguards are used. Purchase and activation data are required to provide a paid license; without them the license cannot be issued or validated. No solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.
